Be in sync with your artist: they chose you for a reason. Link up before showtime, know their beats and running order, do your sound check and rehearse the transitions together.
Cut from the record that's playing. Grab the platter and drag it back and forth to scratch by hand.
Plug in a DJ controller by USB (Pioneer DDJ, Numark, Hercules, Rane, Traktor and others), or turntables through a mixer with MIDI out, then tap Connect. Jog wheels scratch the record, and the crossfader cuts the scratch. Tap any button below and move a control on your gear to map it. Works in Chrome or Edge.
The crate holds the beats the admin uploads.
Artists (optional): create your artist profile on RespectMusicTV.com and link it in Menu → RespectMusicTV.com profile to get verified for battles. You can skip this and do it any time. Fans: no profile needed. Stay anonymous or share your socials in Menu → Fan profile.
Version 2 · Effective October 2026 · Operated by Respect Music TV®
You must be 18 or older. Cypher Wars™ is rated Mature and includes explicit language. You are responsible for your account and everything done with it.
Your artist account is linked to your claude.ai sign-in. Your handle must not impersonate another person, artist or brand. We can rename or remove handles that break these terms.
Everything you upload or record in Cypher Wars (beats, songs, vocals, DJ sets, studio sessions, stage recordings, photos, logos and lyrics) stays yours. Cypher Wars™ and Respect Music TV® do not own it. We use it only to highlight and develop the artist, for the respect of the music.
By uploading or recording, you give Cypher Wars™ and Respect Music TV® a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, play, display, record and stream it inside Cypher Wars, and to use, feature and promote it (including clips, highlights, playlists and posts on Respect Music TV channels) to showcase you and the game, crediting you where practical. You can ask us to take an upload down at any time; once it is removed we stop using it in new promotion.
When a DJ or producer uploads a beat, Cypher Wars™ and Respect Music TV® may use, play, feature and promote that beat in venues, battles, events, the studio, highlight clips and promotional material, and put it to its best use for the artists on the platform. The beat still belongs to the DJ or producer. Selling a beat in the Beat Store is separate and follows the license terms set for that sale.
Only upload what you own or have permission to use: no uncleared samples, no other people’s faces without their consent, no brand logos you are not authorized to use.
If you add a face photo, other players in the game can see it on your artist. Face scanning sends your photo to Claude to find your face; you can remove your face at any time from Edit artist.
Battle hard, but no hate speech, threats, harassment, doxxing, sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence against real people. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
The Battle League is an optional subscription starting at $9.99 per month, billed in advance through our payment provider until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices and perks may change with notice. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
EATS links to independent delivery apps such as Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub. Orders, payments, delivery and refunds are handled entirely by those apps under their own terms. Respect Music TV is not responsible for third-party orders.
Sponsor boards show brands that have an agreement with Respect Music TV. Showing a brand does not mean that brand endorses any player or league.
Cypher Wars is provided as is. We may change, pause or end features at any time. To the extent the law allows, Respect Music TV is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the game.
We may update these terms. If we do, you will be asked to agree again before you continue playing.
Cypher Wars™ and the Cypher Wars logo are trademarks of Respect Music TV®. All rights reserved. You may not use the Cypher Wars™ name or logo for your own products, events or channels without written permission from Respect Music TV®. Sharing your own clips and scores from the game is welcome.
The game adds each player's account ID to the link as client_reference_id, so every Stripe payment shows which account paid. Check Stripe, then activate that account below.

Stage mode sends your mic raw, with no echo cancelling or auto-volume, for the lowest delay and your full voice, like a real in-ear monitor. Turn it off if you play out loud on speakers.
Get real food delivered to wherever you're playing. Pick what you're craving, then your delivery app.
Each button opens in a new tab already searching for your craving near your address. You pick the restaurant and pay on their site or app. Your address is only put into the link you tap; Cypher Wars never stores it online or sees your payment details.
Producers drop beats here for the admin to hear. Beats the admin adds to the crate go on the decks for every DJ and artist, and fans tap through to hear the full catalog in real life.
MP3 or WAV, up to about 5 minutes. Only upload beats you made or have the rights to. Free producers keep 3 beats; Battle League members keep 12.
Free auto-tune: pick a preset on any vocal track (Natural, Classic hard tune, Robot, Harmony or Deep double). It tunes to your key automatically, or pick the key yourself. Use headphones while you record so the beat doesn't bleed into your vocal. Turn on Stage audio → Headphones in Settings for a raw, low-delay mic.
Pick what you rap into and what you hear the beat on. Your picks stay saved on this device.
Xbox headset: plug it into the controller, then connect the controller to a Windows PC with a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter and pick “Xbox Controller” as your microphone. Phones and Macs connect controllers by Bluetooth, which does not carry the headset jack, so use your phone’s own headphones or earbuds there. PlayStation: plug your headset into the DualSense or DualShock 4, connect it to a computer with a USB cable, and pick “Wireless Controller” as your microphone.

Use Cypher Coins for event tickets and eligible in-game items.
LEAGUE REP: your events are private and get their own room. Share the invite code with your guests (up to 3 upcoming events). Set your booking list from the event: only they talk during the show, fans listen, and you can bring fans on stage or take the floor.
Your wallet lives on this device's account. Copy your key to sign in on another device.

MP4 up to 600 MB, 1080p. Everyone in every venue sees the wall playlist.
Owners and staff: type your owner or staff code to unlock the Respect Music TV remote, the video wall and venue music for everyone.
Make a code for someone you trust. They type it in Menu → Owner code to get just that job. Each code works once unless you allow more.
It is shown only this once. If you forget your owner code, tap "Forgot owner code?" and use this key to make a new one. Keep it private: screenshot it or save it in Notes or your password app.
Link your artist profile from RespectMusicTV.com. Once verified, your photo, name and city show on the versus screen so everyone knows who they are battling.
Optional. You can battle without it; you just show as Not verified on the versus screen.

The Respect Music TV verified badge shows on your player and on the versus screen. You need 20,000+ followers on at least one social account, and industry roles also need credited work in the industry. Without it you still get the regular icon for what you do.
Before you go in: Cypher Wars is about the culture. Battle with bars, not with hate. AI moderators are on the floor in every venue, the chat filter blocks abuse, and you can report anyone from their profile.
Three strikes pauses your chat and mic. Serious or repeated abuse gets your account removed.
The show keeps playing while you play. Game sounds stay under the music and the mic.
One account, different people: your artist, your DJ, your manager, your videographer. Each persona keeps its own name, look and role. Verified accounts get up to 5.
This is what people see when they tap you in a venue. Your photo comes from your RespectMusicTV.com profile.
Before this file goes up, tell us who owns it and what it may be used for. Uploads stay off until the rights are approved.
You keep ownership. By uploading, you let Cypher Wars™ and Respect Music TV® use, feature and promote it to highlight the artists and the game (Terms, section 3).
When you take the mic, your voice and avatar go live to everyone in the venue, and your set is recorded on your device so you can replay and share it.
Under 18? A parent or guardian must agree for you. Consent version perform-consent-2026-10-v1.
Face photos, every upload, report and designer brand, with its declaration and audit history. Only approved uses play. Take down mutes a track everywhere.
Copyright or trademark owners and their agents: tell us what's wrong and we'll review it. The track playing now is filled in for you.
Original clothing, shoe and accessory brands are welcome without a trademark registration, as long as you own the design. Every submission is reviewed and stays private until approved.
Every set you rap on the mic is recorded on this device. DJs: record the whole stage (beat plus whoever's on the mic) so the artist can hear it back and share it.
Videos you upload play on the LED screens and billboards in every venue for every fan. They play muted, and the screens switch back to the performer while someone is on the mic or the decks.
1080p MP4 (H.264) or WebM, up to 20 MB per file: about 1 minute of 1080p at 2.5 Mbps, or longer clips at 720p. Videos play at their full resolution on the screens; set Settings → Graphics to 1080p or higher to see every pixel. Up to 12 videos play in order on a loop. Only upload videos you own or have the rights to show.
Respect is your standing in the culture. Win battles (+150, +200 on the rooftop), rock the crowd and get fans throwing money to earn it. Fans earn respect by hyping artists.
Beats
Background music for when no DJ is on the decks. Each venue has its own playlist. Venues without one play the “All venues” playlist. Everyone in a venue hears the same song at the same spot, and it stops while a DJ or an artist is on.
MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, AIFF or FLAC. Songs up to about 10 minutes. Uploads go into the playlist picked above; move a song with its dropdown. Up to 40 songs in total, played in order on a loop. Only upload music you own or have the rights to play.
Logos you add here rotate on the sponsor boards in every venue. Only add brands you have a sponsorship deal or written permission from.
